Northern Soul Doc or Film?

Is there a Northern Soul Doc or Film in the offing?
I'm sure I've read something about a Film, possibly set around Wigan Casino and that scene recently.
Might be all the This is England 86 creating false memories though.
Found a Moloko video, Familar Feeling and it reminded me of the subject.

Has that scene ever been covered by a proper Documentary, surely the BBC has covered it.

SoulBoy was released recently but as far as I know only shown at small venues. I imagine it will be out on dvd in time for the Xmas market. I wish this film had been centred around the Twisted Wheel in Manchester though - the home of Northern Soul. If it hadn't been for the Wheel, Wigan, The Torch would never have happened!!

Ahh OK Soulboy premiere.

Along that Soulboy tangent, pretty sure there was a recent doc about the Caister/80's soulboy scene, Chris Hill, Robbie Vincent and all that crew, which is more my thing.

Edit: Hells Teeth Soulboy only came out last month, that sneaked under the wire.
Did it get much in the way of media coverage?

There was one ages ago called "The strange World of Northern Soul"--it was on channel 4 late one night years ago. You can get it on dvd, Ive seen it around.

I've not seen it yet but lot's of my frienRAB have, I think it's a bit like Marmite - love it or hate it!
