north korea is it going too attack the u.s?

i recently seen in the news that north korea is testing and has a missile now that can reach alaska and the u.s russia and a few other countries. is this true or is this just more stories on the news that's fear mongering to get rates? if this is true will they attack us or another country? if so do we have anything to protect ourselves?
 
Unfortunately they have missiles able to circle the US from both sides already.

I wish I could answer your questions but I am not very trusty with my crystal ball today...
 
Yes, the USA is always in danger of being attacked by any country who has the means to do so. I mean remember 9-11?? You don't have to have a nuclear device to attack America....just a means and the will to take as many lives as possible. I pray for our country daily and I hope you do too.

Well if it's aimed at Alaska that means it'll take out Canada (the best damn country around). That sucks.
 
Has anyone ever stopped to ask WHY they would attack? How would that benefit them in any way, what-so-ever. But also, consider that the news networks are owned by companies that also have interests in the military-industrial complex, as well as political connections. People make big bucks when we get pants-pissing scared.

The U.S is the most powerful country in the world and North Korea has had missiles like that for years. It doesn't mean there going to just fire away. And yes we do have missiles to protect ourselves. I mean seriously just because were in debt doesn't mean we don't have nuclear weapons. And did the news say that North Korea is going to bomb us. Let me think No. Or else it would be on ever channel ( DUH!)
 
no that isnt true. the closest thing to the us that the new north korean missile can reach is guam
 
The North Koreans are not stupid. If they would attack us (and, why, exactly, would they do that?), they know we can obliterate them, and we'd be justified in doing so. Seriously, we probably have 100 missiles for every one they've got.
Where are you getting this? Fox News? Fear-mongering is how they stay in business.
Edit: If it's aimed at Alaska, it would take out Sarah Palin. See, there's always an upside.
 
I think North Korea is looking to scare the idiots in congress into paying more for less. With a pansy president and a do nothing congress this country might just surrender instead of fight and that will really upset North Korea. Just think all our national debt would become theirs and since we are going socialist anyhow it would simplify the process.
