Had a bit of a problem the other day after retrieving my car from the mechanic. Apparently... they forgot to screw the damn radiator cap on tight enough so I had hot water and everything sprayed all over by the time I got home. Checked the oil its clean as a whistle so no problem there and runs good once i refilled the radiator with water. Only problem (least i think it is) is the water pressure is at 50% between cold and boiling. Which I could have sworn it is normally down by cold.
Any ideas beyond replacing the thermostat that could be making the pressure jump up, or if that is the correct pressure for that car to be at?
