normal rev limitation for a 1998 toyota camry?

i have a manual toyota camry and i was just wondering what the normal rev limits were because so far Ive never hit mine and Ive takin it to the red line and a little past. it is a straight 4 and the thing runs great. ive topped it out at 115-120 i dont really remember i stooped looking down at that point. i was trying to figure out if the previous owner mod'ed anything. if he did its not obvious. i just have no idea how to inspect a rev limiter.
 
No rev limiter, just a red line on the tach. You may blow the motor, or float the valves.
