I left my charger in my x5 (it was off) through the night as always, and for some reason, when I try turning it on, it doesn't work.

Same as me here. The battery is low, and while i was surfing the net, the phone simply turn off it self. I thought it might be the battery. Then I charged it. But still it cannot turn it on.
