Nokia S60 Hardware

Are all the phones based on the same range of hardware(Radios, DSP, Processors)? I am curious because it could mean that many of the phones that work in europe could be flashed to work on the other bands if needed.
 
if you goto forum.nokia, some of the latest S60 hardware are being listed there... unfortunately, as already been said many times, it involves a lot of hardware more than the software, hence flashing won't do it... most of the EU chips being used wont support the frequency in NA, particularly the UMTS frequencies of NA, and there are the antenna that needs to be of the same freq...
