I have a nokia phone (the 6110 navigator). I have been using this phone for quite some time. Suddenly, the display went off. When I tried to unlock the keypad after a couple of hours of use, I saw that the display was blank. I tried a couple of stuff which did not work: rebooting my phone, charging the phone in case this is happening because there was no charge (i don't really know if this can happen though ...), removing the batteries and putting it again, etc...but none of these worked.
I am able to attend/end calls. I am also able to unlock the keypad and make speed dials (of course ...all this without the display). I cannot do anything else with it. is there something that I can do so that I can myself make my phone all right, or is this repairable if I get it to an authorized service centre? Or is my phone gone forever -- I mean should I buy a new one and forget about this?
Please help ...I'm terrible handicapped without it..........
