Nokia PC Suite - Store Images - N80 !#%@!

duplicate post in nokia forums.

so this is starting to get really annoying...

i love the software the N80 came with, makes everything really easy and automated, almost like apple's software/hardware, only really one thing to complain about, the STORE IMAGES app.

no matter what i do, what settings i change, when i connect to this program it will save duplicate after duplicate of the images, it doesn't seem to recognize that there are already the same named images in the default folder, so it saves copies(1), (2), etc.

is there anyway around this?! i love the app, it really does allow you to free up space in your phone, i transfer them, then shrink them on the phone...still looks great and WAY smaller.

can anyone help a "store images" brother out?

I have this exact problem but I never bothered to post about until now. It first started happening after I upgraded to PC Suite 6.81. I thought it would be a one time only thing, but it happens during every sync. I just stopped transferring for a while hoping that a new version of PC suite might fix the problem.
 
Do you all have any third party photo viewers / editors such as Resco or any other similar ones? I found that each time I used that app it was actually changing the images as it created thumbs, thus updating the timestamp and confusing store image into thinking that there were new images.
