Nokia N91 8gb will it work in the US?

I thought this phone was going to be released in the US by Nokia as they had it on their website as "coming soon" but then they no longer have it showing. I looked online and noticed it is missing the 850 frequency band. I'm using the old ATT wireless network and wondering if the N91 will work for me. Anyone know? thanks for the knowledge.

Depends on where you are, but most of the AT&T (pre Cingular) was 1900mhz.

Go to www.wirelessadvisor.com and enter your zip code and it should tell you what bands are in your area

thanks for the info I live in Long Beach within the LA region so it seems it 1900mhz frequency is used, just wasn't sure what the old ATT Wireless service ran on.

If your GU87 works fine in your area, then so will the N91

N91 8GB works well on Cingular/AT&T. 850 is not used that much.. atleast I never had any problems.

Im using n93 on Cingular and its working fine in LB, Belmont Shores area. Then again I got lucky because we have a tower on our building.
