Nokia N800? HELP!!!! please?

I have a Nokia N800 that i bought and it doesn't turn on properly. I press the power button of course.
Then, it says it lights up blue on the left side where the buttons are.After that,it says Nokia with a white screen in background.Then the screen turns a little darker then shuts off any ideas on how to fix this?
OS?
or well what?
