Nokia N80 Video Conversion!!!!

Hey guys hope you can help with my problem. I was previously able to convert video files using Nokia Multimedia Player 1.1 which is found within PC Suite 6.80.22 into .mp4 format and play on my N80 no problem.

After updating my firmware to v4.0623.0.41 26-07-2006 RM-92 (31.04) the converted .mp4 files come up with an error message on the phone then proceed to play just the audio but no picture.

Please help if you could suggest a solution, thanks in advance.
 
I have the same problem. My N80 already came with the current firmware. The way I fixed is to convert videos as 3GPP files. The N80 plays those with no problems. I am using WinAVI to convert files. It can convert either to 3GPP or MP4 files. I got it from eBay for 1.99
 
Use Super by eRightSoft - the best hands down. Whether the file is "MP4" or "3GP" is immaterial as that is simply the container. As long as a MPEG-4 video codec is used in the encoding process, the quality will be equally good regardless of file extension (ie. 3GP or MP4).

In Super, use 3GP container (Nokia/Siemens/NEC), MPEG-4 video codec and AAC audio codec. With a video bitrate of around 400 or more, the resulting playback is superb on the N80.
