Nokia N80 usb with Kubuntu/mepis help

hi,
love my N80 but everytime i have to transfer pics i have to restart my box with windows. as my lappy doesnt have a bluetooth or a IR port, i have to rely on teh usbcable. But i have been unable to set it up in linux.
anyhelp as to how to go about that will be welcome.
am not a geek in linix just a beginner so sorry if i am asking a dumb Q.
 
I'm using my E70 with Kubuntu 6.06. I originally couldn't get the USB Mass Storage interface to work, but after a firmware upgrade to the v2 firmware it started working w/ no problems (actually, I may still have unmounting problems, but I haven't tried in a while and my memory is a bit foggy). I would definitely upgrade your N80 firmware if you aren't on the latest.
