Nokia N80 Causing Battery to Overheat

I have had my phone for over 2 months with it working fine except for the occasional bug, but last week i woke up in the middle of the night to find my phone was extremely hot, i removed it from the charger and left it till the morning.

When i woke up the battery had drained to just about empty, so i charged the phone again to find that it heated up, i rang nokia support who suggested i take the phone to the shop i bought it from and change the battery in which i did and the phone has been fine for a week.

I woke up this morning to find that once again with the new battery the phone being very hot again, i rang my local nokia repair center and they said i have to bring it in for a diagnosis, and they would need to keep it for a few days.

Has anyone else had any problems like this, and can maybe shed some light on the problem?

My e50 earpiece tends to heat up a bit when talking for more than 10-15 min at a time. Also while charging a very low battery, the entire phone tends to become quite warm, but I would not say hot.

Make shure it wasn't using some kind of connection like WLAN (wifi).
Sometimes when my old N80 or my current phone N93 are set to download things over wlan it gets hot.

I have 5 chargers they all do the same thing, am taking the phone into the nokia repair center tommorow, will use my N70 until its fixed.
