Nokia n8 release

This phone took waaaay too long to launch due to the UI upgrades. Amazing camera and some nifty media options, but the UI is a big "meh" and the resolution and processor are not up to par with other smartphones being launched.

Still, it does have easily the best camera for still-shots on any handset.

The Nokia N8 is a Symbiosis 3 smart phone from the Nokia N series. Featuring Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, the N8 is the first Nokia camera phone to utilize a 12 megapixel camera sensor size of 1/1.83″. The N8 display features a 3.5-inch (89 mm) 360 x 640 pixel color touchscreen, and is the first Nokia smart phone to run on the Symbian3 operating system with single-tap interaction, featuring the addition of multiple home screens, customization abilities, and multi-touch capabilities with gesture support.

I have recently saw the review of the Nokia N8 awesome phone looks stylish and i like more about phone you can't change battery of the phone and it's really works for the longer period.I have heard this phone will be arrived in market between the Nov-December 2010.....

I saw the review as well. Looks very promising. Its got looks and performance to back it up. It even supports penta-band 3G which I think is pretty cool. We are getting our N8 stock soon hopefully.

There are several distributors in Germany and the United Kingdom who have started to determine an exact date for when they will start marketing the 12-megapixel mobile phone Nokia N8. News now from a marketer at a Nokia phone shop in Britain is that the Nokia N8 will go on sale August 25.

Well, I don't know about "big", but certainly encouraging. Given it took them about 2 years before offering the N95 8GB, there is an improvement. Of course, they put about ZERO effort in selling that device back then -- let's hope they push this one a bit harder.

I been a long time nokia fan boy but i can not justify buying this phone with its os,i have a Evo 4g and it blew my last nokia out the water bad. Symbian is cool but its outdated now. It was one of the first phones with multitasking and it was fast and did not lag ! But its all about apps now and the ovi store sucks real bad. A app that was decent just to tell me the weather cost 12 bucks compared to the evo witch wasnt even an app it was already built in !
