I'm thinking about getting a N75 from AT&T, and I noticed something interesting on Nokia's USA site. When I filtered the results for phones on the Find Products tab by clicking the box "Internet over WLAN" under Advanced Features, the N75 was included in the selections. So, I downloaded the user guide and searched it for "WLAN", "VOIP", etc., but didn't find any info on using WiFi.

Is this a feature that exists, but can only be found after unlocking the phone? Has anybody tried getting it to work?

Its been over 2 years, I notice - I am not finding an answer to this mystery. Nokia's site (europe.nokia.com/support/learn-how/internet-calling/compatible-devices) indicates that the N75 IS CAPABLE OF MAKING INTERNET CALLS and contains the NOKIA INTERNET CALLING APPLICATION. The instructions from Nokia (europe.nokia.com/support/learn-how/internet-calling/how-to) show you how to connect to WLAN. Yet anywhere I see the technical details of the N75 laid out, it says no WiFi. So, is the WLAN a possibility on unbranded but not on branded (ATT, grr) firmware (just like when you unbrand you suddenly get stereo Bluetooth) ?! I'd love to hear from someone knowledgeable!

I notice the Nokia 5500-Sport is another on their list of VoIP (over WLAN) phones for which the fact sheets read 'WiFi:no '. Do they simply mean you can VOiP over your data connection, but neglect to mention that in any of the 'how to' of site?? (\\ptth)(europe.nokia.com/support/learn-how/internet-calling/how-to)
