Nokia N73 - Sony K800i -- Nokia E65 ?

i m looking to buy one of these phones i have used nokia n73 phone but i havent used the other 2 phones so i was wondering if anyone can help me out to make a decision which phone should i go for ?

Honest opinions coz i m planning to buy the phone tommrow itself ?

This is just ridiculous. I'm sorry we've argued so long because it's nothing but hilarious to me at this point. Let's go get coffee and we can exchange phones for a day?

I'm on my 2nd cup, but I am not giving up my phone

I used to love Nokia. But picture quality, battery life, UI..things SE does better, made me jump over about a year ago. I tried that same jump 2 years ago with the S710 and hated it, but SE has greatly improved. So until Nokia wows me again, I'm with SE for now.

N95 didnt wow you yet? dont think anything sony have can come even close to N95 or E90.

its just like how ps3 going ot fail =P sony phone is no good (BESIDES THE BATTERY LIFE, WHICH IS REALLLLLY GREAT) look at their smartphone, P990, sooo many bugs.

N95 is a nice phone, but why cant they match up to SE in the camera department?? I did mention that the few pics I saw that were taken WITH the E90 looked pretty good and that may be something to consider. However, the price tag will probably be absurd, as it is on the N95 now.

I had the 6620 for a year, the 6682 a year and went from that to the SE w810 and now the K790a.

I switched to SE for the camera function because about the only apps I used on S60 were Profimail and Yahoo!Go program (the real good one, not the one thats out now) and thats about it. So S60 is not a NEED for me. My SE runs opera mini, java gmail app and google maps great plus with push email with the built in client and IM+, its really all I need.

Remember, I am not knocking Nokia by no means. But SE currently fits me just great and thats what we all strive for, isn't it??

Alright, I hear you on that.

My gripes with Sony are the built-in web browser as the biggest fault. Understood that Opera Mini can fix this, but Opera Mini is available on any phone, as with Google Maps and the Gmail app.

The closest I came to owning a SE was the W810, but in the end, video recording and the web problem stopped me. Then whenever I tried to find a SE that would suit my needs (craving the awesome battery life) I couldn't find one with the basics like EDGE and 850.

I stick with s60 because of the app library. Others, like yourself, may argue that most of the apps available are done already on other phones, which may be true for a lot of them, but there are some very awesome gems among them. The most unique, I'd say, would have to be Symella and Symtorrent. What other OS allows you to download mp3's and torrents right on your phone? It amazes me.

Have you gotten a chance to play around with a 3rd Edition device or any s60 after the 6682 you owned?

T-mobile uses 850 for roaming. The carolinas, georiga, western NY and PA etc will all have much better coverage if you are using an 850 phone.

k800/k790 is an awesome phone, unless you are going to move up to the N95 id say it is a better choice than almost any nokia. Nokia and Sony are the 2 best phone makers right now, Sony has been slacking a bit though. I cant wait to see their response to the N95.

yeah i know but the thing is that for me if the smartphone does not have qwerty keyboard it is not a smart phone and i have been using nokia phones since the ice age and i love them dont get me wrong but i want to try something other than nokia just to know if i will like em coz sometimes other things are good too from the ones we are used to

No I havent played with 3rd Edition and I've heard its great. I had Symella on my 6682 and yes very neat. But with only EDGE speeds it kinda got old after awhile. I totally agree with built in web browser on the w810 - not good. But the K790 is worlds apart. Much much better. And yes it has EDGE and 850 and after holding it in your hand, you get the sense you are holding a "white collar" phone as it is very classy and business like.
