Nokia N73, confused about firmware

Hi

I recently purchased a N73 from Hong Kong. I'm using it in Vancouver on Rogers. My N73 is black, but the box say "Nokia N73 Internet Black". I assumed that it is the N73 IE and NOT the ME.

Firmware: V 3.0638.0.0.44
RM-132

Question1: where do i get updates for this phone? Nokia Asia or Nokia Europe?

Question2: Does RM-132 mean the IE edition and RM-133 the regular edition?

Nokia Europe says i have the newest firmware already, but my phone freezes all the time when taking pictures.

The Internet Edition and the Music Edition are both black.......I think that the Internet Edition has more silver like the battery button.


To the OP..........what color is you battery door button??
 
Just download the Nokia Software Update software from either Europe or Asia as it doesn't matter as they are the same. Then run it and see if your phone is up to date or not.
 
hey man, if you have a SPECIAL KEY with a music symbol above the "C" aka clear key, then u have a ME. If your special key is a diamond shaped logo, then u have IE.
 
Yeah, I think that's the newest firmware.
Mine is very slow in saving pictures as well. Sometimes the system totally freezes and I have to pull out the battery.
 
Well I just upgraded my ME edition the other day...... and my WEB browser is acting up.........I have it as a short cut on my home screen and sometimes when I click it, it just pops up a mouse pointer on my home screen................................Anyone else have this????
