Nokia Messaging status

I haven't been able to login on email.nokia.com for several weeks now. What is wrong with the the site? My email is pushing fine on the device though.

What is the official status of Nokia Messaging? Is it going to remain a free push email service for Nokia phones? Why does it have to hide emails older than 2 weeks? There is a place in the menus to change this setting, but it's locked out on the E72.

I'm trying to decide if I want to stick with Nokia or switch over to a blackberry.

I'm able to login fine.

The official status of Nokia Messaging depends on where you live. It's still a free trial in many countries but in some countries you have to pay for it through your carrier.

I'm not sure about what you're talking about when you ask "why does it have to hide emails older than 2 weeks" because it doesn't do that on any of the devices I'm using it on (N97, N900, E72). When you first set it up on the device, it syncs the last 3 days but after that, it keeps messages on your device until you delete them (I have emails in my inbox from May 25, 2010 right now).

On the E72:

Email>Settings>(Select an account: Gmail for example)>Account Settings>What to synchronize>Inbox settings>Hide email older than

My E72 NAM says 2 weeks, and you cannot change the setting.

It's like that on the E66 too. Who was the Nokian braniac who thought that nobody wanted access to their full mail Inbox? No threaded email, BTW, either....
