Nokia E72 vs Nokia E5

For about three years I had a Nokia E71 that I loved and cherished.

Less than a year ago, I upgraded to a Nokia E72 which I loved even more.

I went on a vacation to Italy and brought the E72 with me, and somehow that was too much for the old girl. She gave up the ghost. There is no saving her.

So, I'm now forced to get a new phone. I was originally going to get a Nokia E72 again, as I liked it so much, but met someone with a Nokia E5 who claimed that if I'm going to get a new phone, I might as well upgrade.

What appreciable differences are there between the Nokia E72 and the Nokia E5, other than that the SD card is located under the battery for the E5? I notice a price difference between the two, with the E5 being cheaper, so wonder if there is any sense in not getting the E5.

Or am I completely ignoring a newer phone in the same line of the E71 and E72 that just came out and people like me should get?

I appreciate all of your help. I actually feel sad that my E72 is dead and am afraid of making an emotional decision I will later come to regret.

I don't see how you will regret getting the E5. It seems tailor made for you. I don't know why you even have to ask. True, Symbian maybe dead a year from now and so on. But that will be another day and what matters for now is today.
