I've tried many phones - the Xperia, various HTC devices, the N95, etc. I'm sick of unnecessarily highend complicated phones that sacrifice functionality for goodies, so I've narrowed down what I want in my phone to a handful of "necessities", ordered by how important they are:
1) Pure functionality - smooth, quick transitions between whatever I'm doing on the phone, quick startup, ease of use, etc.
2) A full keyboard and quick messenger - the keyboard has to be ergonomic and good for speedy typing.
3) Some sort of semi-usable music player - I don't have an iPod, I want to just throw in my memory card and start playing my music in a semi-attractive interface.
4) A speedy camera. None of that "waiting for it to snap" crap, it has to produce at least bearable pictures (3.2 mp or up)
5) Something that displays appointments on the homescreen or in my calender (not sure if the BB does this).
6) Wifi and a basic browser. Limited to email functionality mostly. No 3G.
With these things in mind, what is better, the E72 or the BBB?
Sorry for being so convoluted.
