When will Nokia release a successor to the E66 slider smartphone?

I really like the E66 since it is slider form, not qwerty, compact, wi-fi,smartphone, professional looking, and no touchscreen.

Nokia must release a new model like this one really soon. e66 is over 2 years old now. I hate how all the manufacturers are only focusing on huge touchscreen phones recently.

Does anyone have any info? Any other phones out there that are newer and similar?
 
Nothing's been mentioned about a successor, but who knows they can drop an updated version out of the blue with FP2 at some point in the future.

Unfortunately for you the newer versions of symbian are at the moment solely for touchscreen phones, so for now the best you'll see in terms of new functionality if a successor comes out is the same as the jump from the E71->E72.
 
Indeed. There is already a rumor that a device like that is in the making.

The only way I would see a non-TS device would be at the very low end of E (or perhaps even C).
