Nokia E63 With Virgin [Mobile Australia]?

I'm getting one, but before I buy one, I noticed that they only have specific pre-paid deals with that phone.
If you use your old simcard, which is with Virgin, do the same pre-paid deals apply? Or is only if you get a new simcard with that phone?
