Well i had Profimail installed for awhile, and while it worked halfway decently, I didnt want to shell out the $25+ for it considering the amount it crashed on me...
So i went back to using the built in mail application, checked my server settings, everything is correct. Yet, when i check the headers for my e-mail (pop3 account), it seems to get stuck after downloading one message. The light flashes, the progress bar is there, and phone still "works" (i.e. i can hit the menu button, or go back to the standby screen), but it won't download any more e-mail. I have to hit cancel, then hit connect again, it downloads one more, then does the same thing....
Any ideas? Using the original firmware.
