Nokia E61 bluetooth problem

My Jabra FS258 (which is the Jabra 250) just did the same thing today. No matter what I do, it will not connect to the phone .... it happened when I needed it too ... something is not right somewhere. Never had this problem with my 9300

Well I can tell you for sure that I have not had these problems with any of my other non-jabra headsets. I guess we just tough it out, or use another headset. My JX10 did not disconnect yesterday, so hopefully it wont today, but I carry my plantronics 640 with me just in case.

I got another BT headset that I am charging up and I will give that a try. I really wanted my Jabra 250 to work with my phone because I love the loudness of the headset. I will know how my new headset works tomorrow. With the e61, you got to have the BT Headset. It is a must

My Bluetooth stopped working about 3 weeks after I bought the phone.
Now i can't backup either, because the phone stops just after backup starts with "Connection to phone was lost".

Judging by the nuber of people commenting on this, I think it IS a problem with the phone!

The bluetooth on this phone is different in some way. It will not work hands free in my 2005 BMW 525. This is the first bluetooth phone I have come accross that will not work in the BMW. Motorola & Blackberry models work fine.

The E61 is a 10, but the lack of handfree in the car is almost a dealbreaker. I guess I'm gonna sell it and go crawling back to my 8700c Fu@k

the e61 has handsfree, i suspect that there are some units with bad bt chip or bad bt fw, but not all e61 are having bt problems... if it is under warranty, then a quick visit to nokia center or your dealer should help

Well I am having this same problem months later. Has it ceased for you guys or are you still having it. I have a few theories, 1 being you should not have the WiFi turned on. I know it's silley but on my 9500 you should not have both connected at the same time. It was always fuzzy.
Anybody else have any ideas?
