Nokia E50 or SE K550

I am stuck between these two phones. I know the E50 is a smartphone, but I don't know how much of the smart I will really use. I know there are all kinds of programs, but I just don't think I will really use any of them on a regular basis. I am trying to find a phone that will blend the things I like about the Nokia 6230(small size), and the nokia 6131(nice screen).

Here are the top 5 characteristics that are important to me:

1. small size/minimalist design(bar phone)
2. reception
3. nice screen
4. easy pc sync with outlook
5. decent camera and mp3 player

I like the look of the SE K550 better than the E50, but the E50 seems to have better features.(except for the camera) They are both about the same price, but I already have a memory card that would work with the E50. I know its hard to help someone else choose, but does anyone have any thoughts?

e50 is more of a business type phone while the k550 is a consumer entertainment type phone. It depends on what you want, but between the two, I would choose the k550. You can upgrade the firmware to the w610i model to get the walkman feature and not pay the w610i price. The k550 is cheaper than the w610i, but what I dont like about the k550 is that the keys on the phone's keypad are too tiny. Instead, I would highly recommend the SE w810i which has a full sized keypad and everything else the k550i has. I know the phone is dated but it is the best. I got one and I love it. Go out and buy the w810i

Smartphone features are worth it. If the phone isn't perfect, there's usually a program out there that fixes things. With the SE you're going to be more limited.

I don't use Smartphone features much, but after my first one, I had a hard time using my 3120b that didn't have the features. There are also some handy programs you can install. I've got a dictionary on my E62, won't use it much but it will come in handy occasionally.

I would in almost all cases chose a smartphone over a non-smartphone.
