Nokia E50 Freezing

Greetings. I bought an E50 for my wife and the phone has been freezing a few times when she finishes a call. She presses the end button and the phone freezes with the finished call just kind of hanging there. So far, the only way to get the phone working again is to remove the battery and restart. I could not find any posts on this issue, but has anyone experienced this and how can I fix the problem? Thanks in advance!
 
I haven't seen it myself, but I think someone else around here had it happen. Regardless, I'd try the standard steps.

1) backup all your data
2) do a hard reset (*#7370#, default code is 12345)

Also, you should run the NSU to make sure you have the latest firmware on the phone - nothing new for the E50 has been released yet, but it's worth checking out just to be sure.
