Hey guys, I'm a newbie here. But I just got a Nokia 6700 Slide (nice little phone) and wondered if there's any possibility to assign sounds to various functions.
For example, I'd like to make the phone give off a sound when I slide the keyboard in and out. (A bleediblabloop sound ala a Star Trek communicator...)
Like in older Windows, you could download a freeware app to assign sounds to various system events which weren't covered by the standard Windows sounds. Is there an app for Symbian that does the same thing? Obviously the phone recognizes that I'm opening/closing the slide as the lights come on and it unlocks, so there has to be some way of assigning a sound to that action?
I could always just pull an Ace Ventura and make the sounds on my own...

If you go into the settings/themes section and go into the 'sound themes' you can do exactly what I've been wanting to do. You can add event sounds for closing/opening the slide mechanism as well as pretty much everything else. D'uh me!
