Nokia 6682 still freezing!

Ok...I've had it! I bought the 6682 back in March with Cingular service so I can control my car from my cell phone with the MFC that I bought from www.Connect2car.com. After 3 phone replacements by Cingular due to the fact that the phone was constantly freezing. I need to unlock the phone. After getting the unlock code, I tried twice and it doesn't work! 5 times and I'm lucked out I heard. Any idea?
 
The 6682 cannot be unlocked by a generated code. Only Cingular can unlock it.

Did you get it directly from Cingular? If you did, and it does not work, contact them.

But why do you need to unlock it if you think it will help with the phone freezing?
 
I want to unlock it so I can control my car with it. Unfortunately, I called Cingular NUMEROUS times and they gave me code that did not work even on the 5th attempt. They recently sent me another one, but I just want to make sure I have the right unlock procedure. Everyone at Cingular seems to have their own different opinion on this. Call Nokia one said. WTH? Cingular is the one who locked it in the first place. argh!
 
Well, some of them are half right. Cingular would have to contact Nokia to get the code. Otherwise, just have the phone's firmware flashed.
 
Got to the "NokiaUSA.com" site, follow the links for 6682 phone support, then download the "Phone Software Update" program.

u got porballly carbie or something in ur phone thatsy its frezzin go to mannger n **** n take a look if u can see carbie if u do then u have to upadte ur phone
