i have a nokia 6680 which i bought from saudi arabia from cellucom and i live in canada one day when i was at a party the phone started to heat up which i thought was weird, and i didnt drop it or get water on it. so i thought i would turn it off to be on the safe side as i left i went to turn my phone on and it would not turn on so a couple days later i went out and bought a battery and the phone turned on BUT when i went to charge the phone it would show that it was charging but when i took the charger out the battery sign went back to one bar and the battery was still heating.

i e-mailed nokia canada stating in my e-mail that i have a nokia 6680 and the e-mailed me back with help for a 6800

please someone help me in what i should do i already bought a moto v360

but the 6680 was special

Noticeably warm Lithium-ion batteries are a warning sign, especially if you're not doing anything with the phone and the battery is warm enough to notice it through the back cover.

Are you using Nokia batteries or non-name replacements?

Do both the new and old batteries fail to recharge? If so, charging circuitry inside the phone may be damaged. There's also a chance that your charger is damaged. Maybe try recharging with another Nokia charger.

Nokia Canada only services phones that it distributes in Canada. (See www.nokia.ca ). If your 6680 is damaged and still under warranty, maybe friends or relatives in Saudi Arabia can exchange it for you.

The 6680 is a nice phone. The closest thing sold in Canada is the 6682.

Dear Sir,

I can understand your problem, you can visit any Cellucom Service center in Saudi arabia, UAE, Baharin, Qatar, Oman, Kenya, Kuwait. They will repaeir it free of cost if it is under warranty.

i know for ure that it is the phone and i do have a nokia battery so i will try and send it to saudia arabia but its been almost 3 years so im not sure weather it is still under warenty. but when i bought it from mcellucom they gave me life WARENTY i believe but i seemed to miss place the sheet of paper BUT on the back of my phone there is a sticker on the inside that says cellucom original and another stiker that says cellucom warrenty wonder if that helps tell weather it is uner warenty or not

If you baught under life time warranty than its covers the warranty , but you have show the original warranty card ( Paper) along with your phone.

Best Wishes
Cellucom

if i dont have the paper couldn't they just check the serial number on the phone
cause when i type it in at the Nokia website it does not tell me anything
