Nokia 6300 won't read MicroSD card

I purchased a 2 GB MicroSD card for my Nokia 6300 phone. I have copied loads of stuff to the card via Nokia PC Suite successfully. I have used my phone to listen to MP3s and save pics and vids. However I can no longer see the memory card via my phone.

The card itself is OK because I have put it in a friend's mobile and it could read the content fine. I have also put the original card that came with phone back in and my phone can't see this either. I have tried turing off and on my phone both with and without the card, but no success.

Has anybody any clues how to resolve this?
 
The card is fine. As stated in my original thread, I have tested the same card in another Nokia Mobile and it is fine. I have also put back the orignal Micro SD card that came with phone, which does not work also. I think this is pretty conclusive proof that it is the mobile that is faulty and not the card.
