Nokia 5800

Hi folks,

I'm thinking of moving to a Nokia 5800 on the new Telus HSPA network. I am still in contract, and my S720 is dying --

I can get the 5800 unlocked for $365 Canadian shipped, taxes in, new. It would be nice to have a phone I can take to the States and pop in a sim card.

Any thoughts on how this compares to other deals out there?

Cavin Here from United Kingdom, Just read your post and would like to suggest you to go for Nokia 6500 slider despite of Nokia 5800. I am using Nokia 6500 Slider since last one year and it has very good sound output with good high definetion camera.

Glad to see there's some enthusiasm for the 5800. I always try to stay one generation back with gadgets -- that's where the deals are.

The 6500 is not really my style, also can't find it here, but glad that it's working out for you, calvin.
