sorry if this is a daft question but..... I read that you can change the language on a okia 5800 by renaming the language part of the firmware - i.e. he .V** at the end of the language file - i.e. vrom .V01 - .V05 (UK - Russian).
would this work for the whole of the firmware upgrade - i.e. OVI doesnt show that v50.0.... is currently available, and JAF won't work on my pc, so could i not just rename all the components of the V50 with the names of the omponents of the V40 firmware?
