NOKIA 5800 DEAD AFTER UPDATING VIA NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATE?

I updated my NOKIA 5800 software via NOKIA Software update..the update ended successfully..but when i turned on my phone it vibrates and turns off...so what can i do about it???when I informed NOKIA about it they told me that there was nothing they could do???how come that is possible....there must be something wrong here...i tried to update via 3rd party updater after my phone was dead..but i couldn't do anyhing...SOLUTION PLEASE
