I have a system 40 phone (Nokia 5310) and want to know whether I can copy the contacts from the internal memory to the micro SD card. If this is possible what's the procedure?

I do not know whether or not you can do that, but you can copy them to your SIM card. Or if you connect to your pc you can synchronize your phone and your pc and save that on you computer.

If you really want to copy to you SD card then just go to the contact list or some other preferences and try to look for something regarding the place where information is stored. But I do not know why do you want to do that in the first place.

Here's the Procedure

Coping contacts from the phone to the SIM card

To copy contacts from the phone to the SIM card, perform the following steps:
NOTE: To view contacts that are stored in the phone memory, your Memory in use must be set to Phone and SIM card or Phone.
1. At the main screen, press the Down Navigation key.

2. Scroll to the contact you want to copy and select Options.

3. Scroll to and select Copy contact.

4. Select Yes.
