Nokia 3250: Can't view photos!!

My 3250 gives me an error message of "Image: Unable to execute file for security reasons" when I try to view photos. I can copy/move them onto my PC and view them there but that's not the point. I have the latest firmware V 03.24 RM-38 and it still has the problem (it had it in the V 03.18 too).

Any ideas?

Very strange... I would say try resetting your phone aswell. Sounds like the best bet.

Does it only happen in the Gallery? Have you tried going through File Manager and seeing if you could look at a picture that way?
 
Yes, I've tried through the file manager and the same thing happens.

How do I do this hard reset? Another question... ...If I do it, will the firmware go back to the old version or will it stay updated?

PS: Am I the only person who thinks I shouldn;t have to deal with this sort of sh1+?
 
*#7370# will hard reset the phone, but I think this wipes everything on your phone memory, as for the firmware it won't be affected. I get this error when using Y-Browser, if you try to view the properties of the sys folder for example. Sounds like something's attempting to access the protected folders. Are the photo's stored on the phone memory or the memory card?
