My boyfriend has a fish tank in his bedroom and up until recently there has never been a problem. However someone has just moved into the (previously empty) room below him and claims the buzzing noise from the pump/ filter (I am unsure which) kept him up all night.
We would hate to have to get rid of the fish tank. Can anyone think of a way in which we could muffle the sound so that it can't be heard in the room below?
We both sleep in the room, and while there is a slight buzzing sound it isn't enought to stop us sleeping.
