Hope someone can help with this. I have just purchased a 55 reg Focus 1.6 tdci with 70k miles. When accelerating it makes a noise when I lift my foot of the accelerator.
Sort of a whirring noise but also an intermittent one, like chchch, chchch in quick succession. Only for the fist couple of seconds of lifting off from the accelerator.
Not sure if its related to the turbo, has anyone experience anything similar and been able to isolate the issue?

Does not do this all the time but most of the time. Also occurs at various speeds (could be doing 30 or 70).
