Most times on acceleration I get a loud "thump" type noise from what sounds like the front right side of the car. It is front wheel drive with a V6 3.3liter engine in it. What can be causing that? What should I check? Also why does it usually hesitate on acceleration from a stop?
It has an automatic transmission also.
