Nodular cystic acne

Hi everyone,

If your like me and have had to deal with nodular cystic acne we can agree that it is damaging to your physical appearance and your self esteem. I am very unfortunate when they show up; usually one large one in the middle of my nose :( Over the course of a couple weeks it will decrease in size slightly. The only issue is that I can see the puss deep within the pores but cannot/don't try and squeeze it out because historically it has made things a lot worse.

Does anyone have any advice to treating this type of acne or any preventative measures?
 
If it's just once in awhile, one or two at a time, why don't you try a cortisol injection?
Had a HUGE cyst where my nose meets my cheek, infected/inflammed - nasty sore bugger. Got a shot and that night it was half the size. Next day smaller...and smaller...within a week...gone.
