No vibrating alert for N93 or N80?

I apoligize if this has been discussed in the past but I was looking at the N-93 and N-80, both looked great until I noticed, per the Nokia USA website that neither had vibrating alert.

To me this is one of the deal breakers when it comes to a phone. It seems small, but when your out at a bar or a large sporting venue/ concert as I am alot, your chances of hearing your phone ring are slim. The only way I realize I am getting a call is the vibrating alert.

Can someone comment on these two phones as to whether they do or do not have the vibrating alert. Also is there any type of addon, I remember way back in the day you could purchase a vibrating battery for one of the first nokia models.

the uk N80 definately has a vibration alert, so i have no idea why the US version wouldnt!

The N90 doesn't vibrate. Quite annoying

They vibrate, unless you have the charger plugged in.

I had a Proto Cingular N80 which is I guess a US version that never came out for Cingular..

It doesn't vibrate.. Kinda sucks!!

Anyhow!! I SOLD IT!

As for my N93.. It functions flawlessly!

the only n-series phone that doesnt vibrate is the n90

YES!! indeed.. The N90 doesn't vibrate!!

A Nokia rep had told me before that they took the vibrate off because it can cause problem with the newly Carl Zeiss lens..

The N73 that I had vibrates.. So as the N93 that I have right now..

Too bad my N93 will be going soon!

The N80 cing prototype does vibrate. You just had to upgrade the firmware. As the prototype firmware was made just to test it, not use all of it's abilities.

Really.. Oh well I sold it anyway.. I thought because it is Proto it is very limited to what it can do!
