My signal has been down since around 8pm. Not really suprised considering how heavy the snow is. Glad the WiMax is still working so I have something to do...

The snow was coming from the other way. No snow on the dish. Signal strength is 89. So, no one else in Ottawa lost signal last night?

I'm back up now.:D

I lost signal too but I went out and brushed off the snow from the dish with a broom. Signal was back right away. While it was out, we watched a little CBOT over OTA.

I lost signal as well, though my 9200 is still trying to recover, after 3 cold reboots, I still can't get guide information past 8pm this evening, and it looks like all my recording timers are borked.

Anyone else run into this?

Actually, since I posted a little while ago, I did notice that the guide on the 9200 was a little "off" (out of synch). I had not used the guide to change channels since that night so I had not noticed.

The guide was showing the wrong time with the current program so I unable to change channels by scrolling and pressing "select". However, I was able change channels by entering the number without the guide.

A cold reboot seems to have solved the problem. A new guide was downloaded and everything is back in sych!

The EPG and timers issues are completely unrelated to the storm and are discussed in detail here:
