I have a 84 toyota that is not getting spark. I replaced the coil, distributor, plugs and plug wires. I also ohmed through the wires to the coil and distributor and they are good
OK check a thing called a ignition module. I had a 1981 ford mustang that has same problem and is was that little gray box. Not sure if that car even has one but look it up. If it does find it and take off look at bottom of that box you will see gel like stuff if it looks melted replace it.
