My mechanic has had my 2003 Cavalier with only 40,000 miles in the shop. He has checked the computer module, the ECM, coil pack, crank position sensor, and also checked every single wire for looseness.
Has anyone here had this problem? He has been more than thorough. He does not have a computer in his shop to hook the car to, but is very knowledable. I was going to tow it to another mechanic, but the second mechanic spoke to the first, asked what was checked out on the car......and had no idea what is wrong with the car.
Throwing this question out there. This mechanic has done everything in his power, and has gone over the car with a fine tooth comb. But still no spark.
I need to add that my torque converter was diagnosed as being stuck. I drove the car with a bad torque convertor, car kept stalling and shaking. I always managed to get it started but now there is absolutely no spark.
