No signal Help :( ??

Hey guys my phone was working fine until yesterday night.
I went to sleep, and woke up with no signal/bars. It has been 8 hours since happened, and the phone still has no signal.

Note
-My phone is NOT on airplane more.
-I have rebooted, and "su ..etc.. fix_permissions"
-I have manually tried to connect to AT&T and Tmobile (get error "your simcard does not allow connection to this network") either one.
- I tried doing nandroid backup but for w/e reason it failed lol

I have cyanogen: 4.2.9.1
Firmware: 1.6
Kernel version: 2.6.29.6-cm42
Build: DRC38
Phone type: G1 Dream/keyboard/htc/one of those 300 names this phone has.

What can I do to fix it, to have signal/bars again and be able to make calls??
 
well you could try updating to the newest mod but that shouldn't be the issue

go to settings>wirless>Mobile networks>Network operators>then check automatic and if that does nothing then try checking Tmobile or at&t deoending on your carrier

if that fails try going into your dialer and pressing *#*#*4636#*#*>phone information>scroll down and make sure it says WCDMA preferred then hit home of w.e

if these both fail try taking out the simcard/battery for atleast a minute

if that fails try a factory lol
 
Sounds to me more like your SIM card has been blocked or isn't working. Does it work in another phone? The exact same thing happened to a friend after he thought his phone was stolen and reported it to his network provider. He then found it. But he never got a signal back until they replaced his SIM.
