My husband and I both want children but we have lately put baby making on the back burner due to some other things.So we aren't actively trying but if we were we would be very excited!
I have been on the birth control I'm on right now for about 4 months and I've have very regular periods, well this month my period never came, so I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. I'm almost 3 weeks late and no period. Normally I would think stress or being sick, but I'm not stressed at all and I'm not nor have I been sick in a long time. Is there something that I don't know of that could cause a skipped period, or what are the chances that I'm one of those people that just don't get positives on home pregnancy tests but really are pregnant.
Sorry this was such a long question. Oh and I feel like I'm bloated or gained a little weight, although that could just be due to the holiday food I've been eating
I also posted this in the trying to conceive section so sorry if some of you end up reading it in both places, I wasn't sure which one to post it in.

I do also plan on making an appointment with my doctor if I don't get my period next month. I just didn't want to go to the doctor if I didn't need to.
