so i was looking at crickets website tonight, http://www.mycricket.com/plansphones/ i noticed they no longer offer the Nokia 6265i (or its a webmaster glitch, refreshing the page several times with same result). im wondering if this is just online or what? if this is the case, anyone know what will be replacing the hanRABet? if any at all....

Why on earth would they discontinue such a great phone?! Must have been outselling the KRZR.......... :-X

And yeah, its still offered in the Denver market.

nokia stopped producing CDMA phones last week when their licensing agreement with quallquamm expired. cricket is currently looking at at least one nokia branded phone I have no other information currently except that the phone is definately not produced or designed by nokia.

SO what happens if my nokia decides to take a dump and i got assurion insurance? also yeah i did see that this was nokias last cdma phone. They mentioned it nwhen this phone came out. Mine is starting to get glitchy.. cam button doesnt work and down button is starting to fail.

there was a couple that were made by pantech and rebranded nokia. Nokia also made their own CDMA phones up until last week. All Nokia CDMA going forward will be made by other OEM and rebranded as Nokia unless something changes with Nokia and Qualquamm patent agreement and Nokia wants to make CDMA phones again. The biggest problem for Nokia is that CDMA is such a small percentage of the Global market, corabined with it being an even smaller percentage of Nokia's sales, and their patent dispute with Qualquamm it makes it not worthwhile to pursue the CDMA market.
