No lease agreament was signed when i moved into a garden flat?

i lost my job so i showed the owner the letter that i lost my job due to the company closing down.Now the owner said i have to advertise in the newspaper to get new ten dents and that i have to pay another months rent.I have to finish at my work at the end of the month so i don't know where she thinks i must get the money to pay her.I didn't sign a lease agreement when i moved into the flat.

"pay or quit." From that day, you have a maximum 10 more to
live there before the sheriff will come and remove you.

b; not sure what 10 new dents are.

c; YOU are on a month to month DEFAULT LEASE by
state law.
