No, I don't hate children. I have some. Plus, I'm a teacher. My husband is a teacher too. I love kids, but NOT when i'm trying to eat dinner at a nice restaurant and have some quiet time with my husband. We tried going to more expensive restaurants to get away from those spoiled, out of control kids whose parents do not supervise them or think it's cute when they bang the spoons on the table... but they're at the expensive restaurants too. sometimes even worse. If we complain the manager usually refuses to make the offending party leave, as they are a "customer" - WTF am i, exactly? Of course, we can just eat at home, which we do most of the time, but sometimes it would be nice to go out for dinner.
Does anyone know of a restaurant in southern california that is quiet, has good food and either doesn't allow children or has a manager with a spine?
