No help for traveler

Can anyone help me Please? I am 56, I had a c-cage put in c-56-2001.
I am now having problems with my left arm from the bicep to the tips of my fingers. Nurabness, tingling, weakness. Emg showed c5-6 radiculopathy,multi level DDD,kyphotic,AC arthropathy.
MRI-c3-4 disk bulge osteophyte complex and mild uncovertebral degenerative change with mild flattening of the ventral thecal sac and minimal flattening of the cord.
C4-5 Disk bulge osteophyte complex and uncovertebral hypertrophy with mild flattening of the ventral thecal sac and mild flattening on the ventral cord. Mild facet arthrosis. Neural foramina are patent.
C5-6 Postsurgical changes with interbody bone grafting and/or cage material. Endplate osteophytes and/or bridging bone dorsally with mild-moderate flattening of the ventral thecal sac and ventral cord.
C6-7 Disk bulge osteophyte complex with mild flattening of the ventral thecal sac and minimal flattening of the ventral cord.
C7-T1 through T2-3 Dengenerative change without signifucant central canal or foraminal stenosis.
T3-4 Small endplate osteophytes that mildly flatten the ventral thecal sac along the lateral recesses
L1-L2 there is a small disc extrusion centrally which extenRAB inferiorly along the posterior margin of the vertebral body with small amount of disc material extending posteriorly along the central aspect of the L2.
I have been in pain since August of 2009 with no help. The Dr's say that because I travel with my husband's job now, that it would be impossible for them to help me! What can I do? I can not sleep because when I lay down the pain wakes me up and I can't sit because the pain. My left foot drops and I sturable alot. PLEASE some one help me!!! Thanks emmie 9

You might want to check out the Spinal Cord disorder board. That is the board that is for the cervical area of the back. That being said there isn't much that can be done if you are going to be traveling. The arm issues are caused by the nerve being compressed. This gives you the tingles and the nurabness and the weakness.

The foot drop is from issues in your lower back-again with nerve issues. Your doctors can prescribe pain meRAB for now, but that is about all they can do unless you are willing to stay put and get your back taken care of. I guess that you need to decide if you are at the point where you will stay still long enough to have it fixed. You haven't been sufering a long period of time, but judging by your results it doesn't look like it is going to get any better with some outside help.

You can try sleeping with a wedge under your knees so that your back is flat on the bed. When you lay on your side put a pillow under your knees and make sure that you are perfectly straight, not leaning over. Have you tried ice compresses on and off? That seems to give some people relief. You didn't say how you are traveling, but riding in a car isn't the best for back sufferers.

If you travel by car make sure that you get out and stretch ever couple of hours. Make sure that you have good support for your back in the car. Get a back pillow from target or walmart. They are full of those little beaRAB that smoosh around to help you get comfortable.
