No Hat Rule At School

The solution to this problem is so easy that I wish I thought of it when I was in high school. Schools cannot prevent someone from wearing any headgear that is of religous significance. So say whatever you wear has religous meaning to you, they cannot ask you to take it off.

yeah at my school you can only wear a hat One day a year. Its some stupid school pride day or something. But the rest of the year they make us take our hats off. Kinda annoying but you get used to it and quite frankly at this point i dont care cuz i usually gel my hair anyways.

At our school, you can get suspended for having a plastic butter knife. But we're still allowed to have pencils, spike bracelets, heavy belts, and lots of other things that can actually be used to hurt someone...go figure.

We're also not allowed to have mints or fuzzy bracelets

We had that rule in my middle school.
The reason why they made it a rule is because kids used to spin hats around in class. That makes the hole class disturbed.
In high school you can wear hats, but the one day one the regens you had to take hats off.
Whats the difference if your taking regents are not.
LOL there was this black kid I always saw, that used to wear du-rags every day 24/7.
The one day on the regents I saw him with out his du-rag.. LOL....

I used to work for the mechanical dept. for a school district...fixing a/c's in the summer....anything to do with boilers..heaters..water heaters...so out in the heat we need to have a hat...i learned the hardway..anyways..on with my story....i walked into the school...going up the elevator..and some hippy teacher tells me ive gotta take my hat off....im like ..."no sir, its part of my uniform"....he went off on how even the principal doesnt wear a hat...i followed by telling him that the principal isnt out on the roof of the school all day...at 135 degree heat....he got pissed off and told me that if i didnt take my hat off..he'd do it for me....i told him to try it..and got in a defensive position....closed up my hands..leaned forward...he kidna backed off ...the elevator door opened and i walked out....he yelled at me from across the hall that if he ever saw me with my hat on in the school ..that he'd talk to my suprviser...i was like...'psshhhh....you do what you gotta do.....'..i walked away..and he didnt have a heater for most of the winter...
